String Players and Improv Project
Last year I completed an independent study that looked at the ways string players benefit from working on improvisation. After lots of research and interviews, along with looking at my own experiences, I wrote a paper which you can download here.
I presented my paper to the Tennessee Music Education Association in Spring 2012. I also led an improv class at the Tennessee Cello Workshop the same semester.
